Can a DWI charge be expunged from my record in North Carolina?

In some cases, a DWI charge may be eligible for expungement in North Carolina, particularly if it’s a first-time offense and certain conditions are met, such as the completion of a waiting period and no subsequent convictions. However, DWI convictions generally cannot be expunged.
