What laws apply to dog bite injuries in North Carolina?
July 29, 2024 – Eric Richardson
North Carolina statutes (N.C. Gen. Stat. §§ 67-4.1, et seq.) cover dog bites and attacks. The law imposes strict liability on the dog owner if the dog is deemed “dangerous,” which includes dogs that have previously bitten someone, caused injury, or killed another domestic animal.
